Announcing: Our First Xogot Game Jam

An axolotl next to the words Xogot Jam

Build a game with Godot — on your iPad!

We’re excited to announce our first-ever Xogot Game Jam! Ten days where creators can explore what’s possible with Godot on iPad.

Whether you’re a seasoned Godot developer interested in trying a project out on a mobile device or an iPad fan who just installed the iPadOS 26 Developer Beta and wants to test out the Mac-like windowing and menu bar — this jam is for you.

With our recently announced downloadable Web Exports, we've made it easy to upload games built with Xogot directly to itch. That means you can create and share a playable game from your iPad — no desktop required.

Who is this Xogot Jam for?

This game jam is a great fit for:

  • Developers who want to mobilize an existing Godot project
  • Creators interested in making games with touch-first iPad tools like Procreate, Nomad Sculpt, or Morphin alongside Xogot
  • Beginners who want to test out Xogot and see just how far game development on iPad can go

All participants get 1 month of Xogot — free

We’re offering a free month of Xogot to anyone who participates in this Jam. You’ll be able to use the full power of Xogot, including external file access, asset imports, and the embedded game view.

Join the Xogot Jam and then claim free access to Xogot here.

Dates & Details

  • Jam runs: Next Friday, June 19th through Sunday, June 29th (10 days total)
  • Theme: Announced at the start of the jam
  • Submission requirements: Publish your web-playable game to itch.io

Unsure where to begin? Try a Xogot Starter Project

You can use starter projects and asset packs, so long as you disclose what you used. You’re also welcome to start from an existing project, as long as you do something novel with it and clearly identify what’s new.
